another sri problem!

right got engine in and starting seems to run fine but havent got to drive it yet! anyway the engine managment light is on an the only thing i can think of is that i dont have a sensor for the manifold, you know the one! i have a spark plug in there! anyway does this sensor matter? will it run ok without? an are spi ones the same! cheers! also is the sri exhaust system bigger than a 1.2 i one? :thumb:

yes you do need because you will tan fuel and is causing the engine management light to come on.
spi will be the same lamba sensor (single wire)
yes the sri system is bigger than a 1.2

The sri is exhaust system is different, but it aint a larger bore.

It has a 4-2-1 manifold/downpipe tho, spi only has one branch downpipe.

It will run pk without the lambda sensor, but mpg will be lower than normal.
