hi,
For once i had nothing to do on a sat(well did but couldnt be assed)ha
so went round to have a look at the nova,
she was looking quite dusty as shes in a relitive garage and i havnt been to clean her for a while,
sun was out so took her for a spin to mine and gave her a clean,
heres the results,
added another mile to her!Lol shes on 12,105 now,
plenty more cleaning needed before show season just hope i have time to attack the underside of archs and chassis, engine snow clomplete

enjoy

21-01-07, 04:11 PM
boring to you my friend but you oviously dont like novas for what they are,

admitably i love modded novas and built a few in my time but this one is staying as it is while its in my ownership

on lookout for another to mod

thanks for your comments good and bad

JSeymour

id wouldnt say my comment was bad. was just saying that imo its boring. its a bog standard 1.2 its not like sport, gte etc...

how some people can say its there favourite nova when theres so many better examples out there(one being your red gsi turbo) amazes me..

any way, your right, i obviously dont like novas for what they are because yours doesnt turn me on!!

Kev Turbo
21-01-07, 05:23 PM
wipermotor hasnt been refitted i removed to polish the firewall, and waiting for a wiper plate to be cleaned up before refitting,

as for the red gsi yes lovly car but this is lovly in a different way as is totally orignal, not many about in this condition or orginal panels

take all your views on bored though and yes a 1.0 is slightly dull to drive!lol

on the lookout for a gte/sport/gsi/sri or similar next to add to collection

what you guys think, repaint under the archs and floorpan in the car colour?
or do it black????

thinking blue may be a bit to bright.
also i could leave it as it is for sheer origionallity???

Waxoyl the fecker, something that mint needs all the help it can get to stay that way. You paint it, one chip and the rots in there for good!! :thumb:

Kev Turbo
22-01-07, 11:43 PM
but paint is waterproof too? it isnt gonna chip that easy? lots of the concorse ford buys and a like use this method and works for them???

just dont want it to lose its origional feel

Yeah, and most of them trailor their car to shows and put them in cotton wool padded garages afterwards, not to be seen again until next years shows lol.

The car will originally have rubbery sealant, not paint, so im not following your arguement on 'losing original feel' by waxoiling it. Anyway, its your car, paint it if thats what you want to do! And let me know if you want some cotton wool for the garage lol
