An Astra/Belmont surround is better though....miles easier to fit, and you get a better finish...plus, you don't have to cut away as much plastic from the dash.

saying that though...I've only seen one Nova were they'd used the Cav surround, and it looked rank, but it may look ok.....anyone got pics of it done well?

See My Car on novabug to see pics of mine done with the Astra/Belmont one.

They only made one mark of Belmont....they are all the same, i.e the same basic car as the MKII Astras, so anything from C to H reg, or there abouts.

I can't remember where I saw the pic with the Cav surround, but I remember it was stuck miles out from the dash, and didn't seam to fit well at all......it looked awful!

Like I say though, you may be able to do it better with care. I'll try and find the pic with the Cav surround, and I'll mail it to you ;)
It may have been a part-way-through pic though, now I think about it, and maybe not a pic of it finished.....I think it was on a fitting guide on some site....not completely sure, but pretty sure it was a pic of it finished.

MKII Nova Brochure scans to be added to www.novabug.co.uk soon!
