on my digi dash the indicators dont light up just wondering if this always happens cheers

Your dash indicator wires are wired to your black/white/green single wire.

Instead wire them to the black/green and black/white wires at the indicator stalk.

ive always wired them to the hazard switch

Mines like that aswell, doesn't show indicators on the dash!

Wire them to either the hazard switch or indicator stalk so it flashes on the dash.

As thats a MOT failure.
