That looks fantastic! really clean & well looked after mate.

Get those GSi decals on the doors. I always think they look like replicas without them.

(Fellow GSi owner btw)

Not too keen on the front arches myself and the front bumper could do with pulling up a bit, but looks tidy for a short-butt lol

cheers for the comments lads....
The front arches give off a sort of love it or hate it feeling lol Obviously i like them myself, there different and last year at the shows (when they were fitted on my old nova) they attracted a lot of attention of people, especially at pvs. A lot of people seemed to like them, so I decided to fit them onto this car :)

I agree there without the graphics they can look like replicas. They will be fitted in the next week :D

Cheers

Nice looking Nova. Not convinced on those front arches, but hey.

ps. lol @ Location: sunny wrexham.
what the hell is sunny about it?

MOL

You do have a point there on my location, I think maybe the sunny could do with being edited to 'miserable, cold' lol

I dont dislike the euro folded arches. I figured it was clearance for the wheels, which I know for myself dont need the extra room (at that height).

No it looks nice. Align the bumper & add the graphics. Job done!

All it needs now is an xe :thumb:

Have you had any spray work done wasnt one of the back arches on the way out?

Craig - Ye mate, the bumper will be sorted this weekend and the graphics are going on next week. Cheers.

Wisewood- Ok mate, put a pic up of your motor, so I know who to look out for :D

Nick - Alrite mate, ye i wasnt into the smooth boot myself either.
Most of the cars been resprayed, the drivers door had to be replaced (i had the other door de-locked to match), like you said the passenger rear arch was in a bad way, and there was rust showing on the passenger wing.
So instead of messin about getting little bits done, I decided the best option was to get both full sides sprayed and a couple of other bits too :)

How did you know that  Lol

And no mate the vinyl isnt on the boot until next week, but I can see what you mean in that 1 pic it does look a bit dark, but its just the light :)

My TD is silk violet. I'm thinking of doing that out as a full GSi replica.

Put the GSi 3-spoke alloys on & have them anthracite to match the smoke trail.

Ive bought some matt-black vinyl, and a local graphic design company are putting the 'gsi and 'vauxhall' parts over the top for me once ive fitted it...

I did try and get a full compete original vinyl but vauxhall told me they are no longer made.

Riggy - Ye sure mate, I'll let you know and prob get some pics up once I get it sorted over the week

Ste - Alright mate lol There not dodgy lol Lol... I know you've seen them in the flesh yourself, but I think a lot of people need to actually see them properly, because ive noticed on here from people seeing the pics, that more people dont like them than do... But when people actually see them properly, I find a lot more people prefer them to the standard wings (which is kinda interesting).

Mazz - Thats a tricky one - I think I do and I dont lol I think my old nova was even cleaner than this one, it was near immaculate, but also it was a bit of a street sleeper, because I had the 2litre lump but most people only thought it was a 1.2, so it fooled a lot of people.
But I think this car stands out more because its a silk violet gsi. people seem to love silk violet nova's. So i think im sorta 50/50 between this and my old red nova.

nov4 sport & chris gsi - Cheers for your comments too lads, really appreciated :thumb:

Car looks great:thumb: ,Wrexham/Chirk/Oswestry seem to be a bit of a mecca for clean Nova's,I hear there's loads of 2.0 XE,LET's e.t.c around these parts?

cheers mate  Ye there are a few to be honest. A couple of lads are running LET's,an Ive got a couple of other mates with 2.0 sri130 engines.

Seems to be a popular choice round this area at the moment for making the average nova silly quick Lol
