silly question about a boot :)

well this is gonna sound a bit silly but, my friend set me up with his smooth tail gate so its in the body shop gettin sprayed to match my car, and as i only glanced at it quickly im not really sure but by the looks of it, the wiring is cut like flush with the edge, there are no clips for the lifters or parcel shelf, and so i was just wondering if any1 has any tips on what i should do? will the lifters be easy to remove from my old tail gate and place onto the new one> will i need to rip the wiring out and place the wires from my tail gate inside :S any input appreciated, thanks in advance sorry bout the massive essay

The 2 bits that the hold the parcel shelf just screw on, the mount for the lift will just unbolt, easy to swap over, may as well take the wiring from your boot saves having to join it.

Little bit fiddly but not to difficult to do, just take your time & don't pull on the wires to hard !!

best way of doin it is to tie the old wire to your new one at the top or the tailgate then pull it out from the ottom of it , thus pulling the new wires down with it :thumb:
