Somebody help me please!!!!

We have fitted a digi dash into our nova...yes ive seen the diagram provided by others for the wiring. but the speedo still isnt working. We have connected black to black, brown to brown, blue and red to blue and red...

Any ideas why???????

is it the correct sender unit i.e. have you seen it working in a car before it was removed ?? iirc theres about 20-odd different transducers ??

Ive just read this in the forum...
One wire from the transducer goes to the dash.
The blue/Red one.

What aboutt he brown n black ones....does that just go to brown n black on the back of clocks as normal or do they ocnnect up somewhere else??

the brown and black are +ve and -ve for the power supply

the only other thing we can do is buy another on....anyone know where i can buy another transducer from??

prob be in a month or so tbh, gotta get hold of a black dash and some cav clocks first, dunno how much ill be selling for, not sure what they fetch nowadays

If you wired the +/- the wrong way round you've probably blown the transducer.
The black goes to an Ignition live(can use the supply to the headunit or dash clocks or something), Brown is earth.
Red/Blue goes to the digidash.

Remove the transducer and make sure that the small square drive peg on the bottom of it hasn't snapped off.

n i wired red/blue n brown wrong way i think....
n that cuz it wasnt explained to me properly by my bf...not all my fault lol....
also he connected black n brown to back of digi dash to begin with....

You can connect the black/ brown to the back of the dash, as long as there connected to the right wires( As theres an ign 12v and earth at the back of the dash)

If you did brown and red/blue the wrong way round, the transducer may have survived.

Its usually brown/black wrong way that blows them.
