Shark stuff is usually "big" power figures, but don't expect it to be any good.

Your best bet would be to run the 6x9s off a separate amp, maybe even have one decent mono amp per sub as well if they can genuinely support that kinda wattage. Could be expensive.

id get something like a 3000w for the subs and say a 3/400 for the 6x9s

I ran 2 1000watt orion subs 12'' on a directed audio amp (600 watt) it was very nice quility and also very loud if ya like that sort off stuff not for me thow!

Dont buy an amp or sub just because they claim to be 10million watts!

lol whel ive got one pioneer 3000w sub and it drains my 2000w amp. The better the amp you get the more you can do with it in the future if you decide to buy bigger or more powerful subs etc

start looking at brands like JL
I'm always amused at how my mate thinks JL are sh*t because their subs run low output figures lol

Does he have a 1000w JBL by any chance???

In my opinion JL are the daddies, they are the only company i never had to send anythig back to because it was faulty!

jl are the daddies but also on the other hand not all people can afford to plash out on quality. i have just bought a 15" in phase sub and it is greeeaaaat. my ears really are hurting and the quality is decent too. dont know what you lot think but i would recomend them. my mate has two nexus 15s off a directed amp and that sounds the bollox

Why do people go for base/bass woteva other trebble.. i'd rather had a lil amount of base and ear peicreing trebble..

Luke.. u seem to kno the crack with audio.. can i pm you soem things and u tell me if its any good?

Reason being that bass hurts your ears in a very different way! lol

Loads of treble is also overpowering and not even in a good way! I think that there should be a equal mix of treble/mid and bass, after all it is how the artists intend us to listen! I think a sub with adjustable bass is the answer, loud when ya need it but can also be quiet and soft when ya wanna listen to music properly!

And yes, anyone can pm me or start a thread for my attention at any time! always happy to help!

Or even if your h/unit has bass control which tbh most do now...
