So peeps how much nos do you reckon a 1.7 cavalier turbo diesel isuzu engine can take?
50bhp be ok or my going to melt something?

It will probably take 50bhp fine.

Try asking on tfs or chip on vauxsport.

O, and its Nitrous, Nos is a brand name :p Lol

come on mandy, youve used mig long enough to know thats the better place to ask about nitrous.... there is only one or two people here that actually know what they are doing with the stuff (and even then one of them is phil lol)

i no some1 hu put 100bhp on a 1.5td and it ran it fine

50bhp would be the safest to go for, but to be honest i bet those engines can take a right hammering. You'll probably find the clutch cant take it anyway lol.

I bet it could probably take a 100bhp direct hit easy, only one way to find out.

take a straight bar with you, i always do lol. Also i was planning on doing a 1.2spi nova take 2 but at pod. I would get a 200bhp direct hit on it an mash it up the strip, an then when the bottom end lets go i'll drop a gear an bang some more nitrous through it, thus scattering engine parts aallllll the way down. This would all be on a french day as they always blow up an force me to wait in the que while they re surface the track.
