View Full Version : Exhaust rubbing on rear beam - HELP!

my car is lowered 60mm and under full compression the exhaust knocks on the rear beam, this cannot be good, how can i get round it? what do i need to check to see if its all ok? Thanks :)

Rag upto my place this weekend and I'll put it on the ramps and sort it for u. It can usually be cured by undoing a joint and twisting the back box a bit. It also helps to mod the rubber mountings up to make them stiffer.
On the other hand you could refuse to take any passengers!:D

me not taking any passengers? thats like mc putting a shed load of stereo stuff in his car cos he wants some "well bangin tunes"! lol :) i'll give you a ring a bit later.

year me too but mine is -70mm got jubalee clips and pulled it up through the three GTE ruber mounts,just one and you'll find they snap under high speed dont the trick but had to bend upwards the hand break cable and mount hope this helped (cant bent well fitting Xorst systems like mine looks wank other wise!!! B-)
