cheap rev limiter,
make throttle cable shorter

but this woll slow car down as it cant reach full revs no more with this mod :D

nooo, thats a power reduction, not a rev limiter m8, if u put ur foot down with the clutch in u would blow the fooker up!!!
Dont work as easy as that!! But still a funny idea!

my m8 had to do it with his landy cause of engine conversion throttle cable was too short (diff manufactures engine to shell), hes got a turbo diesel but he said that mod saves blowing up his engine :D so id thot id post it
effectively it is a rev limiter just not a very good designed one really? as i said rev limiter cos it dont let u reach full revs :)

Nope! you can still hit full revs in first gear with part throttle!

Have alook through a Demon tweeks catalogue. Rev limiter works on the coil and stops the spark at a certain rpm. Any one will work. They only help when you are going up through the gears though, coz if u fukc up like I did and hit 3rd instead of 5th the damage is caused by mechanical speed, and there is nothing you can do about it.

Shorter throttle cable just means u can get as much fuel into the engine, not directly related to the revs m8!!

7000 + rpm = good fun. Be careful with your gearshifts, use a bit of common sense and enjoy!

mine did about 8000rpm (needle pointing straight down) then it snapped rockers and blew up!!

I have just converted my Nova Merit dash to the SR dash but i dont know how to wire up the rev counter. Please help. :)
