just been to pick up me new beast! a b reg 1.3 SR, im well chuffed with it, will take some pics on thursday in the daylight.

mike this ones a runaround till mines done.
no i aint putting cav rims on it,
and no you carnt have the engine lol
i'll just be putting spax kit on it in the next few weeks, a smaller mountney steering wheel oh and a weber 32/34 twin choke carb and thats how it will stay.
its a little beast! love it! feels soo old skool! :D

lol i'll let you know when im thinking of selling,thats if i do decide to sell, i might end up getting too attached to it! lol
mike, well i just need to sort the water pump etc out, put new rear quater on and a repair arch on the passenger side, try and sort a hazzard switch problem, sort the interior, few small bits of rust behind the head lights then get the parts iv put on sprayed up then hopefully have it done in time for PV :D
Why not put the engine & any other good bits you have onto this, looks clean from the pics.

so beautifull, keep it total standard apart fron the suspension and the carb, looks sweeeeeet mate.
you need some early optional 13" three spokes for the proper old school look!

andy, it looks good there and spose for the age it is good, i'll get some decent pics up on thursday (day off) and show the few bad points etc
im leaving these wheels on, but im going to spray them like an anthracite grey with a bright silver lip.
and i think with the suspension and carb it'll feel more fun etc so i carnt wait!

That should have it, I had a b-reg yellow sr and it had the pierburg 1B1 (single choke) as standard. And id say 14" steelies if you want the original look then at least you can get some 2.0 16v brakes on.

im getting attached to it already tho chaps! im going to take some pics for you tomorrow and have a good poke around etc.
iv ALWAYS wanted a car like this with my T40d engine in etc. like i wanted one like that befor i even thought about being able to drive, used to look through me brothers TV's and then decided i wanted one like i saw in the back of it with an engine i saw in a feature car, but im not sure if i want to give up on my T4O'd nova etc. im confused!
but then again im thinking of sort of restoring it etc, like maybe put a lower milage 1.3 in etc with the 32/34 and just respray it all etc etc. realy need to have a good look around it and real good think!
also i paid ?450 for it with mot till august and tax till end of febuary.
ace , make one off them a fast road car and just track slag the not as good shell , dont have to be pretty then :thumb:

the head light one, someone has hit the wing so it just bent the wing slighty, but not to bad, am going to try sort it.
and the rust behind the vynal on the tailgate i was anoyed about BUT, iv been in touch with someone and he said he can make me one so im in the middle of sorting that out, so atleast i can sort the rust andput a vynal back on.
also theres a dent by the petrol cap, quiet a big area but noy a deep dent so its not that noticeable.

loooks very nice mate, love the oldskool look dont see many that actually pull it off......just needs a nice suspension setup and some nice wheels :)

PMSL, very true, thats why im going to try get it to a show lol
lol yeh it does sit fairly high but i though its just because im used to mine sitting so low lol, im still getting suspension tho so that'll sort it lol
well prahaps they'v taken something heavy from the bay cus it makes a funny noise aswell lol
