My mates got a Cav SRi and he asked if BK Racing Alloy Wheels 235/45Z R17 5 stud

Dimensions:

Rim width = 214mm
Bolt Diameter = 114mm
Offset = 23mm
Back Spacing = 130mm

will fit.

5 stud? On a Cav? The 4x4 Turbo has 5 stud doesn't it, but that's the only one I think, so they might not fit simply 'cos of that.
Plus, with 23 offset, that's miles away from ET49!

I don't know Cavs very well, but I'd guess that with wheels, you'd want to be going along the same lines as if it was a Nova...staying as close to ET49 as poss.

Not sure though.

SRi is ET 49 though!

What offset are the V6 and Turbo then?

Oh, and BTW, not all the V6's are 5 stud, 'cos the V6 5-spoke alloys fit on Novas!

the v6 5 spokes are available on some sri's, and a couple of others, like factory fit options.

If all V6's are five stud then, how come some Novas have the Cav V6 alloys on?

You know....the curved 5 spokes, that look like this http://www.novabug.co.uk/VXWHCavV6.jpg
They come off the Cav GLS V6, but fit on Novas! According to the 1995 Cav Brochure, these alloys are "unique" to the GLS "V6". The CDX V6 has a different 5-spoke design, and the none-V6 GLS has the same alloys as the LS.

I'm not arguing with anyone......I'm just wondering why this is? Do they make that style of wheel in both 4 and 5 stud patterns?
If so, what other models were they fitted on (though it says it's unique to the GLS V6)?
Of course, my brochure is for 95 only, so things may be different for different years...maybe?

Just wondering ;)
