fitting a bonnet scoop

hello all

i am getting a gtir scoop the larger version of the 2 on tuesday and would like some help on how to fit it correctly.

i am thinking along the lines of:

cut hole, rivet on, blend in with fibre glass, smooth over with smallest amout of filla then spray?

sounds ok? or not?

ps please no replys like ians "I didn't do it, I paid someone else to!!" ;)

yep fit from underneath if u can to save blending time.

use flexible bumper filler not p38 apparently it doesn't crack like p38 would when slamming bonnet.

Its a bitch to do well without a full bonnet repsray and loads of filling etc. I bought a Scooby third scale scoop designed "to fit Novas" LOL. There was no way it was designed to fit over the arch up the middle of the bonnet. I had to bolt the fucker as well as stick it and even then it doesn't sit flush alround.

CP that meks two of us, my scoobie scoop is exactly the fecking same ! Designed to fit, MY ARSE !!! (in fact it would probably fit my arse better than it does my bonnet)
maybe people copuld have a look if Kev ever updates the site........
