Vehicle status checks

My Corsa's logbook is still in the previous owners name and i dont have her signature to transfer it into my name.

She gave the car to a guy to scrap but i saved it before it made it to the scrappy. I bought it from him.

Is there a method of checking to see if the car is registered as scrapped?

Plus the yellow part of the V5 is missing (the part you fill in when scrapping your car)

xxx_Nova_xxx un-scrapped his white Nova iirc. Might be worth a PM to him, ask how he went about it.

the yellow part is if you sell to a dealer not scraping it , there is a box on the green bit for that :thumb:
