As above.

The std one? Or a custom made jobbie?

Cheers for the pics.

Hmm, your std pipe seems to fit.
Mine wont turn so the bolt points to the side of the inlet, the angle is wrong :(

Try using a hot air gun on the ends of the hose that connect to the one-way valve, that should soften the hose enough for you to be able to turn it.

Right, managed to turn the pipe with by heating it with a lighter, but it still wont fit.
It seems the 90deg angle isn't right, it ends up pointing towards the top of the inlet, or touching the master cylinder.

Ive got an adaptor on mine which steps down the pipe size, would that help? (you can se it easily on this pic as I took it before i reconnected the vac hose.)

It must because mine was a 1.2i pipe, not a carb one, i think there slightly different shape.
I tried the Spi one but to get the right angle it made it kink so thats not much good.

So i got in the loft and found some random brake servo pipe, dunno what from, mk2 astra i think lol
Cut that down and fitted the connectors on the end.

All sorted now :)

i'm in the middle of doing my 1600 t40 setup and have noticed you to have gone for the mechanical fuel pump any reason?? as i'm in the middle of fitting my facet silver top and can't decide to put under the bonnet or behind the tank?

The mech fuel pump works fine for 40s.
A lot of people use it.
