ratios???

Whats the best ratio to use in an F13 box in a 1300 8v. i use the car for small sprints, an as soon as i get my msa licence ill be headed for proper stage rallies. cheers lads.

f13 cr with a 4.18 final drive or higher.(higher you go more chance of wheel spinning)

i cant see there bein much chance off wheel spin with a 90% diff. ive got a choice of 4.1 and 4.5. should i just go with the 4.1?

The higher the final drive the greater the acceleration.
So a 4.5 will give more acceleration(perfect for twisty hill climbs)

With a 4.5:1 final drive 1st will only be useable for getting the car onto a trailer, lol.

and how often are you in 1st at a rally? lol..... fit the 4.5

depends on what sort of events you are doing does the car need long legs?? ie tarmac or are you doing forest stuff
i run a 4.1 on airfield events but i think a 4.5 would be better

well its a disused airfield , i do the same event all the time. i think ill change to the 4.5. oh and another question, can i run on bigger wheels with the 4.5. im runnin 13s at the min.
