A bodyshop... try Yellow pages if youve never seen one on your travels.

Perhaps you could use liquid metal adhesive to stick some metal in ready for filling. Might save a few quid at the bodyshop. (Just an idea, no clue if it's as good as welding it) lol

Aye good idea.

I remember someone asking if a chassis plating kit could be fitted with chemical metal too. Would make a good experiment for someone like Baxter.

Not for some lol

Just out of curiosity, how much do you charge and do you do it professionally or just because you're handy with filler?

I do the stripping, welding etc, got an old boy who does the filling and sanding, painting, he's really good, bit of a perfectionist.

go to B&Q and buy a stubby bolt with a flat head and a 20mm washer - you'll need to grind it down a bit (use a bench grinder) and secure it in place with epoxy resin or liquid metla to seal it but it'll give you a flush finish ready for a skim of filler.

Thats what I did - it took me an hour to hone the parts down sufficiently and then it was just skimming and spraying the doors
