Engine probs

Any1 know whats up wif my engine??
Last nitye in unbelievably torrential rain my car started doin mad stuff.when sittin in idle every now and then it would judder and almost stall,then eventually would.Also when drivin,mainly accelerating it would al of a sudden almost die,then start up again making the car bounce about.I haven't had a chance to have a good look yet but I'm gonna let it dry out till after work.any suggestions as to what it could be and how to fix??

the filter sucking in rain maybe?

water in your carb. Also take your distributor cap off and dry the metal points.

forgot to say it's an sri--injection.Prob seems to have stopped now I've had a chance to dry it all off and get rid of the water so thanx for all the help.
