i think it was the novas doors, the sound they make is unique lol, it is tho

I like the mk1 dash that constantly emits a squeak from the clocks. You have to hold one hand through the steering wheel to press the clocks to stop it! That or the creaking of the back doors.

That clutch squeak was a tech feature on 80's Vauxhalls I beleive.

every Nova Ive ever bought has had rear wheel bearing whine, except my TD. I was chuffed! lol

Every vauxhall Ive ever owned from that era had it, that includes 3 Novas, a corsa, and two cavaliers!! Not a unique Nova noise IMO.

The sound of scrubbing rear arches gets my vote, due to Novas having the narrowest offset and shallowest arches in the known universe lol

A four (or so) inch section of pushbike tyre tie-wrapped lengthways over the rear beam fixed this on mine as it used to ding and rattle over any bumps and on tickover mainly lol,
Er what about the whiney high pitched rattle that comes from the bottom of the gear-linkage somewhere under the car, can only usually hear this when driving with the radio on quiet, or off but stops if you rest your hand on the gearknob lol so does that one count as all 8 of my novas have done this!!!
