i am curious of what parts i would need to fit a c20xe in to my m plate mk3 astra

i kno would need engine box loom etc
fuel pump (mpi)

its a 1.6 spi! would the engine go in on the same mounts?gear box mount too? it been a 1.6 i would think would have a f16?correct?aint looked yet just thinking about it now if it has a f16 box the shafts will fit the f20 box on the red top or f16!

cheers

if youy have a small block 1.6 i dont think the engine mounts are you same you'll need to weld in differt one but it dose depend on the block.

Should just be able use the mounts off a c20xe engine mounted into a astra gsi....
Straight bolt on in place of 1.2i mounts.

You'll also need big block shafts and big block hubs/struts too iirc(to fit the shafts)

Mk3 astra uses the small block 1.6 as far as i'm aware, think you'll have to change the front struts for 1.8/2.0 versions and use the shafts and 'box to match. Try mk3oc.com or mig for a better answer.
