Leather is too heavy and will 'sag' down. I had a local trimmer make me one up in a cloth which looks very much like suede. I had all the windows out, and if you get some seriously strong impact adheisive fitting isn't too much of a problem. Just streach it as far as you can and stick it down. Hold it/clamp in place until the glue has set and your sorted. I was told by the trimmet to start at the back, then do the front, then do the sides.
