View Full Version : FAO dan23 or anyone else intrested in making a light weight dash

dan23 asked me about my dash that I made. I haven't got the time to make them for people, and to be honest its not pretty but it is light and functional.

Anyhoo his inbox is full, so I thought that I would post this here and then anyone who was intrested can see it also.

What I have done is drawn out the dash and given all the dimensions you need. The main part is fascia board and the dash with the switches on is just covered hardboard. It mounts on the origonal dash mounts in three places. The only bracket that needs making up is for the far left portion of the dash (The blurry piccy).

I had to cut down the fusebox and then mounted it to the side of the dash. Hence the extra screws in the piccy.

Its not hard to do and was a quick fix until I can afford a proper dash/data logger.

Nice. But what're the six switches controlling?

I'm guessing; NOS, Ejector Seat, Oil Slick, Smoke Screen, Rocket Launchers & Autopilot

what about machine gun, the bullet proof rear shield and the cutters that come out of the wheels??

think there needs to be 3 more switches lol

dash looks really good!! think i'll save this thread for future use if you don't mind.

lol Thats as good a guess as any. I don't even know what switch does what. I was going to label them but got side tracked. I just switch the one I think it is and listen for the right sound. If it doesn't happen then I pick another switch (This is true).
