i went to look at a gsi but some1 had swapped the seats and dash over with gte stuff so mk1 dash i was thinking if i was to get a gsi dash is it hard to fit as it has digi clocks as well will they fit ok.

it took me about 4 hours to remove my old dash and fit a new one but i never been much good with anything like that.
i didn't find it hard... just time consuming.
if you are used to working on cars n stuff you should find it easy.
Digi clocks are easy to fit so they say... there are guides all over the place on the internet. most people could tell you where to find one.

no it already has digi clocks just want to know if i can stick them in the mk2 dash with no hassle some1 said they dont fit

they do fit in to mk2 abit tight though all u av to do is bend the gold tounges away from each other

they fit in a mk2 better than a mk1, mk1 is a fair bit of work to squeeze em in.

yes but how hard is it to change themk1 dash in a j reg gsi over to th black mk2 1 like it should be?

are you sure they changed the dash and it wasn't just a facelift GTE ? sounds a bit strange to take a GSI dash out and replace it with a GTE one.

it was a j reg all the paperwork so was a gsi but dont know why it had been done

Weird...very weird!

Next thing, someone will get a GSi, and fit GTE bumpers, and MKI wings!
