Is there smething in particular you are stuck on mate?
Simps.
yep just like the water pipes what goes where and the ht leads there in the plugs but not the dizzy so which goes where? can yas help es like?
Water pipe routes are as follows. I had this problem when putting my XE in. I couldn't find any info on it either.
I used the Nova radiator pipes and a Nova radiator, so thats that one sorted. Looking at the engine from the front of the car. Put the left heater matrix pipe on the left outlet from the big black plastic pipe and the header tank off of the right one(Right pipe form the big plastic pipe). Put the right side of the heater matrix to the water way on the head. The small pipe from the inlet manifold gets teed in to the small pipe that goes from the rad to the header tank.
Hope this helps

Seeing is believing baby!
I took some pics tonight but you'll have to wait til tomorrow nite when I'm hope to put them up as I didn't bring my cable with me - doh!
The pics aren't that great anyway as mines a turbo not an xe and there's quite a lot of stuff in the way when it comes to taking pics! lol But you should be able to get the idea!
In respect to the dizzy cap, mine has actually got the numbers on the outlet! So when you do get one you should hopefully have to. If not then I'll take a pic! lol

p.s. as far as the water hoses go its exactly as Dar said and all the hoses you use are nova hoses except for:-
- The hose you will need to extend that comes off the manifold that goes to the t-piece between rad top and header. I used a piece of copper fuel hose, 2 jubilee clips and some hose I got from pirtek I think thats the correct bore. Lasted fine for me all thse years.
- Side of head to left-hand heater matrix. I used a hose off a mk2 astra GTE 16v that does exactly the same job on the astra. Its sort of G shaped. Not the ultimate pipe to use as its a bit long but does the job and only about ?10 new from vaux!

Ok. Here goes with pics!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/TheSimps/Nova/Mechanical/P1100001.jpg
The standard nova thermostat to radiator hose. Use Nova.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/TheSimps/Nova/Mechanical/P1100002.jpg
The standard nova big hose to bottom of rad from plastic pipe. I've got a mtal insert in mine cos it split but the nova one will fit.

Slightly more technical this one!
A-B is standard nova hose from plastic pipe to right matrix.
C-D is a mk2 astra GTE 16v side of head to left matrix. Not the worlds best fit as its a little long in the middle, but does the job and works!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/TheSimps/Nova/Mechanical/P1100004.jpg
E is normal nova hose from bottom of header to top plastic outlet.
F would normally go to top of rad from header tank but mines a turbo so a little different.
G comes from inlet manifold and runs into T-piece on G.
Hope this helps!
I'm gonna try and get some better pics when its a bit more stripped and then look to make a thread a sticky/guide?

well I do try...lol
Modification to the heater matrix shown here :

I personally wouldn't bother with running the return from the inlet manifold back into the heater matrix. Fit a old temp sender into where the push on pipe fitting goes, or any bolt tbh, just blank it off.
Looks much tidier done that way too imo.
All my other pics are a bit crap tbh, nothing close up.
