Has the car been lowered, what size wheels and tyres? Assuming they're 4x100...

My Oz Exclusives were et38, stuck out a bit but were ok lowered 60F/50R with rolled arches and no rear seats. Spax RSX adjustables as well, set rock solid lol

dont bother witht them just get the right offset in the first place and save all the probs you will have with them

There 16's with 215 40 tyres. there for my project nova which will have coilovers and metal wide arches. as long as the offset is ok il work the car round them.:D cheers mate.:thumb:

NO. It'll look hideous tbh & it wont go down low.

Even worse is the fact that the handling (steering) will get screwed up & the steering wheel will tug in your hands going over uneven road surfaces etc, or when on the slow lane on the motorway, it'll search out the troughs in the tarmac from the lorries & be a right pig.

Someone with Vauxhall rims will easily out handle it & be more nimble through the twisties.

ok, what would you say is the maximum size to go for?

Its about width & offset.

I wouldnt go wider than 6.5" & wouldnt go below 45mm et (Ive never had anything other than 49mm)

Otherwise you will have to grind the car to bits & it will still scrub no doubt.

You could maybe get away with 7" rims in 15" but as the rim gets wider & you stick to 49mm offset, the wider the wheel is the more there is to foul the inner arch, so you are concerned with outer scrubbing & inner scuffing.

Theres loads of wheels to choose from.

Meh, I never had any problems with handling on my hatch, but that was 195/45/15. 16's on that offset probably would cause problems though.

cars not going to be ready for awhile yet so i mite see if i can get a set of 15's and 16's then test them for myself.
