What the best way to bleed the coolant system on a nova? Also what are the washers inbetween the head bolts & the cam housing as i have misplaced 3 of them

leave the lid of the header tank an leave running until the fan kicks in, although vauxhall system are supposed to self bleed anyway.

undo the hose on the bottem of the right hand side (look at at engine bay) hose on the rad once done reattach then fill up again once done squick the pips with engine runing top up water as needed you should need about 2 lt of coolarnt in there turn heater on to make sure you get good flow in the hearter matrix

To bleed it just remove the dash temperature sender from the inlet and fill the system with coolant until it comes out the hole.
Then re-fit the sender.

The washers are needed to spread the headbolt load and give the right torque..
