i have a 2ltr 16v nova that was originally a 1.2 and the garage says that you cant connect to the diagnostics machine any other ways to do it??:cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

ground the brown with yellow stripe,wire by the ecu...

as long as you have wired the ecu light up?

the ecu light is wired up, so are these wires be down by the ecu?? how do i ground them?? (nt to good wi electrics!)

the wires are near the ecu and there on a small square green plug the wire with the brown/yellow stripe is the one you need to connect to the battery earth and if you have a test light attach it to the positive side of the battery and then touch it on the blue/brown wire and this will flash out the codes, you will need to print a copy of the codes off the topbuzz website though
