Nope, MPi pumps are external.

Thats the hole for the fuel level sender surely?

No hole for an internal fuel pump lol.

Although there is a possibility i could be wrong here, im thinking of built in swirl pots, but ive always used carb tanks so im not 100% sure. If theres only one hole like that it will be for the sender though, that im sure of!

Its not a GSi tank. The hole is for the fuel pump on 1.2SPi, 1.4SPi etc. GSi tank doesn't have a hole there.

Fuel level sender goes in the back of the tank btw.

If the Sender hole is in the same place as a 1.2i/1.4i tank(on the side) then it can't be the sender hole.

That looks like a 1.2/1.4i tank to me, internal fuel pump.
The hole is in the right place to be accessible through the hole in the rear floor.

May be wrong tho...

Its not problem tho, just fit a MPI intank pump, which is a better setup than external imo, pump doesn't get covered in crud and rusted etc

Edit-Beaten to it, lol
