sunroof drainage in tailgate

fitted my new tail gate but when i pulled out the loom i also pulled out some pipe that i think is for the sunroof drainage (the bit i pulled out was only about 2 inch)were does the rest of it go ?

Its most likely the rear windscreen washer pipe that always breaks.

if you dont use the wash wipe,
tie a knot it in and push it back thru on to the roof lining,
then run across it and down above the drivers head in the roof rail surport like bits,

if its a bout 5-6 mm and flexible its washer if its about 8-10mm and quite stiff its my cocck.. i mean the sunroof hose

sunroof drain pipe goes all the waydown to the bottom of the rear corners, it would only just fit through the hole in the tailgate on it's own so it's most likely the washer pipe that you've found.

Isnt there a grommet (tube) type thing with the loom & washer pipe within?
