can i use my standard sri fuel pump for the xe engine thanks.

Yes you can mate. as teh SRI is a multi injection set up the fuel pump is the same as the GSI's so fire away

think it flows 20 psi, the xe's flow 21psi, so u may starve it a little if you boot it for ages, i used a cally 16v on my xe

can you tell me if i need to use a coil off a xe or can i use a different 1 because i need to get 1 cheers guys

JU ssaying the facts, also the xe's use fuel dampeners, the gsi's etc dont, they do stutter and hesitate if the gsi pump is worn, beleive u me

hmm in not sure it will be ok.well it will be O.K..... but ive raced a few of my friends xe'd novas in my old xe nova.
all the xe's that had 1.4 fuel pump i beat quite easily. but then after they changed to a cally pump. the races were more even.
Im nlot the only one with that experience then!

nope. it really is quite noticeable isnt it. its one of the most important things for a reliable xe conversion imo.
i was always getting asked why mine was so fast. answer was always the same. CHANGE YOUR PUMP lol
my mates xe corsa blew his rings and burnt a few of his exhaust valves out because it ran so lean at high revs.
the gsi ones are fine but if theyre high mileage and blocked up with ****, then you should change them, i know the same goes for the cally ones etc, but never had a **** cally/cavastra one,only **** nova ones!
