Do the Post office send things?

Yes, as long as you wrap it well, take it to a post office and they will take you through the rest and charge you for doing so.

take it to a post office yes they do send bumpers, if any item is to big such as the bumper they take it of you and pass it to a differnt courier

When I've tried to send stuff through the PO it has had to be no longer than 1.5 metres iirc, although that may have been when sending overseas...

Anyway, type 'cheap courier service' into google and it brings up a canny company, you input weight, dimensions etc on the site and it gives you your price, you can arrange pick up from home at a time/date best for you and you print out your own waybill thing that the delivery dude scans when he turns up. Happened to be UPS too, bonus imo! Also the PO can get ****y about the way **** is packaged, I sent 2 spoilers through UPS and both were wrapped in plastic sheeting with cardboard protecting the ends/feet and they were fine lol

RM std parcels is max 1.5m length. Not sure if Parcel Force have size restrictions, but I wouldn't advise sending through them lol

Parcel force have a similar size restriction... If it's too big for royal mail they will just send it through parcelforce but as Jack says.. don't send through them.. they suck/break stuff/kick parcels around the warehouse (I used to work for them)

I remember we had a bumper that just sat in the depot for weeks as everyeone refused to take it due to its size. Eventually they paid an agency driver to deliver it.. needless to say it probably didnt arrive in one piece.

hey charge ?8.99+vat for anything that is properly packaged and under 25kg. This can save loads of money on larger items. There are size limitation though, so please check the Parcel2Go website for more info

P2Go limits can be pushed slightly, i've sent a box about 4ft long before with no probs. Bumper might be pushing it a bit too much tho,Lol.

DHL must take bumpers as i've had loads of bumpers delivered by them.
Even a set of mk2 bumpers in one dhl package.

APC,

They've taken engines with fluids still in them before. I used to send stuff that was 2 and 3M long through them. pretty cheap too.
