can this be done?
Astra digi-dash ?
It can be done, but iirc its a mare of a job as the digi is bigger that mk1 hole, so you need to do a lot of hacking/bodging..

Dont bother. I tried it and made an absolute mess. Hence why it has a mk2 dash in now.

i lived with it in the mk1 dash for a while, and i liked it cause it was different and it looked good in the dash, i'll do it properly one day, but to do it im going to take the dash off etc.

its a very very long time ago but i remember hacking the dash to bits then just trimmed an old mk2 astra cowling to hide the mess and hold the clocks perfectly. It slid into the clock hole nicely and just required 2 screws to hold it up like on the astra's

For me it matches the lines of the mk1 exterior better.
