Depends what you want the paint for?,is it for a ford or do you want to paint something else that colour?

want to paint other things that colour, think ive got it now anyway, however i went into my usually very good paint acceseries (sp) shop yesterday and they were unable to find it via that code.

I've used Rover Tempest Grey in the past on Nova's its 40% gloss so semi-matt,Hurricane Grey is the same but slightly darker

I looked around for Ford matt grey, but no where had ever heard of it, or sold it.

had some deliverd, ordered it by that paint code but its wrong again, way too light.

this is alot darker than the 2 lots i have had from the paint code i got, any gen on why or the correct code?

Hurricane grey rules.
Most stuff on mines done in that.
Bumpers, grab handle, door handles, and soon to be wheels.

Not up to date, but bumpers are done hurricane grey.

Yep.

Also look at Draper Midlands car.
His bumpers are hurricane grey, and looked to have been done with a proper spray gun.
The colour looks much shinier on his.

Yes mate hurricane grey 2K will come as a straight colour though not basecoat so no need to laquer it,its 40% gloss
i had a K reg SRi early last lear,resprayed it and instead of replacing the vinyl i lightly stone chiped it with a proper adjustable gun turned right down then sprayed it Tempest grey,looked spot on aswell:) ,had to show a few people what i'd done as they wouldnt believe it wasn't vinyl.
Hurricane i'd say is the better colour as its a bit darker.
