Wiring up Citroen AX wiper motor

Anyone kow how to wire up the Citroen AX wiper motors?
Bloody French wiring is crap!
I have cut enough wiring off the loom which constists of grey/red, grey/blue, grey/white, grey & yellow wires which run upto the wiring plug. The wires after the plug then change to red, blue, white, black & yellow.
Anyone know which is which?
Think the straight grey maybe earth & yellow is possibly a live as its a thicker wire than the rest.

how did you mount the motor?
if you know what wire is earth just have a play about with the other wires i think there should only be 2 one for constant an one for intermint wipe

Not mounted it yet, bought it for the next project:roll:
Would of thought there would be an earth or live, speed 1, speed 2 & intermittent. Would have thought the 2 speeds & int are switched earths or lives:confused:

You tried sticking the nova motor on the linkage?

Thats how mines done!

Will it still park at one side, dont want it parking in the middle.
Is it just the motor you change as there are 2 other wires the go into the mech bit.

can you get a pic up?

You can change where it parks just by removing the arm from the motor and setting it where you want it. It'll just do one rotation per cycle so where it stops is up to you!

Think I got ya now, do you take the motor & gearbox part off the back plate?
If so do the old bolt holes line up or do you need to redrill it?

it should only have 1 earth wire i think punto motor does

Yep, yank the gearbox off and mount the nova motor to the linkage. Cant remember about the holes, but youll know straight away if you need to redrill.

Will have to get a Nova motor now as I only have early ones for a Sport!
