The ones that bolt the caliper to the bracket are 7mm(iirc) allen bolts.
And the ones that bolt the bracket to the steering knuckle/hub are 10mm as above.

Your best off with an allen bit that fits to a 1/2" drive socket so you can get good leverage(and not have it slip and slice your hand,Lol)

As i've bent many allen keys trying to undo caliper bolts,Lol.

good plan i need to invest in some... i usually get some leverage with a big spanner

Forget what i just said, they are Delco calipers.

Yeah, there covers, get them off with a screwdriver/chisel.
Altho im not sure the size of the allen key behind them, it might be 10mm as those calipers dont have slide bolts.

thanks lltn, got the old discs and pads out, but whats the best way to go about moving the piston to get the new pads in and either side of the disc? the old pads were really worn...

cheers

I always open the bleed nipple, then with the old pad squeeze the piston back with a set of large pliers, or a g-clamp.
But you may then need bleed the brakes.

You can leave the bleed nipple, take the reservoir cap off and squeeze the pad back to press the piston back.
Fluid will rise in the reservoir.
Altho with this method i've heard people say you can flip the seals in your MC=one fooked mc.

I've never flipped the seals by removing the resovoir cap and pushing them, just take your time.

i drained fluid out the bleed nipple, i'm going to bleed the brakes now anyway. cheers guys.
