where does everyone put the oil return from the turbo to????
at the moment ive got it going to the front of the sump but when i brake it causes the oil to flood the pipe, have got myself a return port of a cally turbo to put in the block. but just wanted to know where everyone else puts them???
cheers
basically it needs to be below the turbo outlet, and above the oil fill mark... you could always put a baffle round the current return pipe so that the oil wont sruge up it when you brake.... saves fitting another return to the block, and gives you a chance to make a rather well baffled/funky trap door sump ;)

Mine was in the sump, as high up as poss (the edge lip was filed back for every poss mm). I never suffered any issues.
How do you know its happening on yours?

Yes only smokes after i brake, plus undone the little rubber section to the sump and put it into a can while car was smoking and the smoking stopped!!! i was just making sure before i have to take engine out to drill block. but we were thinking about a baffle behind the hole, the prob is it just sits above the oil level the sump was already made and was told it was correct, but doesnt look like it now!!! will see if we can move or make a new pipe into sump higher!!! will put pics on my WIP thread tonight.
cheers
essentially you want a "reverse" swirl pot where there is a patch of the sump kept empty(ish) when braking so that the turbo oil can be fed into it (and drain off)
Should be easy enough to do with a trapdoor style approach.
ok it means sump off and some mods there, but if it saves you getting the engine out and drilling the block then id deem that a good thing.
