Right, i'd fed up trying to wire the *******. I have the 40 set up from the C20XE engine, Ie Regulator, pump etc, what dizzy and coil set up should i use? Will the C20XE set up fit? Also, what about the fuel tank? Can i use the GTE Tank, lines and Pump?

The car up until now was an SPi.

the c20xe never had a traditional dizzy so not sure what you were trying to use...

you "could" use the gte pump but it would stress the regulator more than with a simple facet interuptor pump

I think its a Carbed Astra/Nova round Dizzy set up as fitted to the 1200 novas etc. Tank wise, what should i go for?

To run t40s on a 1.4 16v(x14xe) you'll need aftermarket management to control the ignition side of things.
There is no dizzy that can fit it.

or just chop with injector wiring out and run the stock dizzy pack, it can be done somehow

Know what, I'm sick to the Back Teeth with that ****ing engine, i was better off with a 14spi.

That was the ?200/?300 ecu Stu probably meant.

A megasquirt ecu can be had for about ?250 fully built and can be set to just run DISpak ignition.
Also leaves you the option of letting it control fueling later on, if switching to tb's or something.
