if you are Riveting them on make sure there are no tiny metal fillings left on the window edge as it rusts very easily and makes em look quite rotten!

Perspex discolours and scratches easier than polycarb

perspex is approx 10x stronger than glass, but will still shatter. It will discolour (go nicotine yellow) if its not been UV treated.

polycarb is approx 100x stronger than glass and it will sort of crumble (for want of a better word) when it breaks... ie the edges are all soft and not as dangerous as perspex. polycarb can also discolour unless uv treated but most is treated as its used outdoors far mroe than perspex for saftey reasons.

there is also Leaxn which is just a funkier polycarb.

There's no need to rivet the windows in. It's looks sh1t, p1sses water in and, as said above, helps the little tin termites eat your car just that bit quicker.
Just use the existing seals on the rear.:thumb:

Perspex you can get slight scratches out of. (i mean slight)
Polycarb scratches and thats really it.
Polycarb will go of colour eventually. will scratch eventually. but wont shatter like perspex.

you can get either a clear polycarb or a smoke type poly.

i dont know nothing tho. ( just had them fitted for a few years) :)
