Right first of all apologies to the mods who banned me temporarily for posting a wanted post in a few too many places

Just to clarifiy, the rubber bush that generally causes all the sloppiness problems is where the gear selection pivot plate (the part that all the linkage 'balljoints' clip to) mounts to the gearbox - replacing this with a poly or brass bush should sort out the stirring with a wooden spoon feeling?

Obviously won't be as good a linkage than if i rose jointed and brass bushed the lot, but im feeling lazy and maximum effect for minimum work and all that :D

Cheers

Oli

I've found that the big square block contains a lump of rubber and seems to be causing most of the play in my linkage. I have seen a few linkages where this has been replaced with rose-joint style rod-end bearing. I know demon tweaks sell these rod-ends, but I haven't as yet got hold of any to have a go with.
