i dont think iv seen a 1.8 16v in a nova. would of thought its been done though

I dont see the point, fFor a start they are only 123bhp, the mutiplex wiring which means getting it wired in would be an **** and a half. So by the time youve spent money on management you might as well go for a 1.6 16v, do the same mods and get a similar result, at least the 1.6s are more catered for when it comes to buying bits.

yea, but this is a smallblock, not the big block like the astra GSi 1.8 and vectra b. there normally silly money because there also the corsa SRi engine.

indeed, the 1.8 16V is not very well catered for in the terms of proper mods (pistons etc) as they use a very thin piston and some odd crank/rod arrangement so wont make as good an engine to mod as the 1.6 version.

all in a ncie idea but not the best way to get results....

dont bother with it mate. i know someone who had a 1.8 in his nova. And it was not that fast. I would what has been said a few times and go with the 1.6 16v. Better engine alround
