I've just bought one of these from the man Colin Smith. The four bolts were already off when we came to remove it off one of his breaker cars, leaving just the double sided sticky stuff. It took both of us to pull the sod off. I don't think I need to drill holes to fit it to my car.

I cut the self tapper bolts off, grinded them down, then stuck a shit load of evostick to both side. Works a treat. If you see any overlapping glue, a bit of white spirits should do the trick

If you took off the bolts, isn't there any chance of it flying off down the motorway or something?? How secure is it...... as it seems easier than drilling loads of holes into my boot.
question - should there be some sort of "nut" that goes onto the end of the bolts? I have only got the spoiler but without any nuts, can anyone tell me what sort of nuts I need? :O :D

in theory it shouldnt come off even at high speeds if stuck on with good stuff.
the airflow should skip right past it as its on the back and does really stick up at all so in theory there should be no air hitting it hard enough to ragg it off.
The name is misleading - I am not wise, or wooden.

mine were nuts, all the ones ive seen where nuts (a bit funny looking) but u use a small spanner to put em on and take em off so how are they not nuts?
if u just push em u will bend them and fuck them up, they will end up not gripping the thread as much
