help-buying a nova

hey everyone im currently looking at a nova im thinking of buying and would like to know what the main things a should look for apart from the usual.

where do i start lol

- check for corrosion on
- sills
- arches
- engine bay
- behind headlights
- under battery
- in the boot
- test drive the car
- ask if its got service history

anything else lol??

oh yea should probably say its a 1.4 bottom end with 1.3 sport head and webber carb, the only thing worring me is that he says it has already been welded behind headlights and somewhere else but he says it needs done again (does that mean it was done really sh!tty the 1st time)

sounds abit dodgy to me mate. If the welding hasnt been done that well, has the bottom end conversion been done to the same standard?? thing is with Novas dont rush in theres always plenty about just keep an eye open lol!!

when buying any nova keep your eyes peeled, go into the deal with head not your heart, think before you buy, as there are still plenty of good ones out there.
