having some trouble with my f28, after alot of playing around i now have reverse and 1-5th but cant get 6th and all the gears are quite hard to find. is there any easy way to set the linkage or would i be best to consider sticking the calibra shifter in it.
its just trial and error mate, just keep making minor ajustments untill it feels right

sometimes it helps to push the gearstick down when selecting 6th

From what i can remember when fitting the f28 into a nova to enable to to select all gears easily you will need to trim a small piece of the RH side of the plastic guide block on the gear stick.( about 5mm if i recall)

Ive often wondered if that would be beneficial on a 5 speed.
