slow cranking

first thing in the morning, slow cranks but fires every time. before i go and spend money on a battery (which is old and shagged anyways) any thoughts it might be earth strap or starter motor (i.e summat cheap and easy)

If other times in the day it always starts quickly then the circuit and motor are fine.

Its down to the batt.

Most turn over a bit slower in the winter tho as the battery is less efficient.

I'd clean the earth strap first, been caught out with that problem;)
