Anyone know if a Nova GTE flywheel will fit a 1.3SR lump with F13 box?
I know I will need a GTE clutch & the F13 box should be fine as its from a GTE but not sure if the flywheel will fit with the 1.3 block & starter motor
Please help:confused: :thumb:

Should do yeah.
F10/F13 flys have the same crank fitment iirc.
As long as you use a f13 clutch/fly together it should be all good.

Just unsure if its compatible with the starter motor

pretty sure it will be fine. At worst it may need a GTE starter motor but someone on here could probably clarify they are the same too.

Think starters are the same.
As i have a gsi starter on my 1400 block, which has a f10 clutch/fly but a F15 box,Lol.

Sounds like it all should fit up together then.

Anyone got a GTE flywheel to measure or know the dimensions?
Need the overall diameter including ring gear & diameter of the mounting holes for the crank. Can compare with my 1300 flywheel then
Cheers

I know the GTE flywheel is 260(ish)mm
It will fit as i've had a load of stress with starter position/flywheel/gearbox compatability on my SR and i'm now fully up to date on all the abovelol :thumb:

when i fitted an F15 (99% the same as an F13) casing to a 1200 block i had to fit the "std" sized flywheel for the 1.2 as opposed to fitting the 1.6 flywheel as the mouting in the block for the starter motor wasnt out far enough to fit the bigger fly....

jsut fit the std 1.3 fly, clutch, then put the F13 on.

oh sorry was that boring. i shant bother in future ;)
