From the way my engine was behaving yesterday I think my dizzy got a bit wet in all the rain, then I splashed through a fairly hefty puddle that I hadn't seen and the engine cut out. It restarted afterwards but I want to make sure i've got all the water off the dizzy/leads etc...

I've got brake cleaner, WD40, Switch cleaner and Isopropyl alcohol, which would be most suited to spraying in the dizzy, or should I buy something else on my way home from work?

I'd just remove it, dry any damp out of the dizzy etc.
And then make sure all the ht lead connections are dry.

You could spray the leads etc with WD40 to stop damp getting in, i never do that tho as it makes a right sticky mess,Lol.

I use brake cleaner for everything, it even got some Lilly pollen out of our new carpet where everthing else failed!
