thats fnny colin has got one in parts section for 600. so that is good price for the lot.

plus with this one, u get fel tank, lines, pump etc etc.

and you get to see and drive it.

I'm in Wokingham Berkshire near J10 of the M4.

I'll accept the offer of ?600 if it's serious, give me a call.

The car seems very reliable, it's never failed to start, if i recall correctly I think the engine had just turned 100,000 in the astra.

I know some people can get engines for ?200, but unless the seller is unsure it almost certanly won't have a Coscast head.

I had some Irish bloke offer me ?250 for the head....

As mentioned, if you start with a basic model, you'll need the tank, pipes, etc plus buy driveshafts and uprate the brakes to GTE spec minimum.

You'll also have a Crap interior!

I don't think this is dear, it's silly fun for the money.

Sure you may be able to build it cheaper, but find a car, engine, fitting kit, shafts, fit it, weld it and frig about with it and then see how you feel.

I better mention that not all of the gauges seem to work, i'm pretty sure it's just the wiring that needs fixing as i've been lazy and just got the basics working.

If you turn right there is a nocking from the front suspension, but I can't find anything with it jacked up - I think it might be the lug on the gearbox tapping the suspension tie bar.

The longer it takes to sell, the more likely I am to get round to tidying up these loose ends, if it doesn't piss down again tomorrow i might get the time to look into things.

I'm being 100% honest here, it's not perfect.
