Heater Matrix - Winter Round Corner

At some point in my nova's history, i noticed a few weeks back the radiator pipes have actually been bypassed which leaves me screwed in the colder months ahead when heating windscreen etc. Is the best option to dislodge a decent nick one from a scrapped nova or sort it properly at vauxhall garage?

obviously the best bet would be to get it done properly... but if you think you could do it yerself - do it.
can always get it done reight after if it dont work reight.
