Thats a great site. Been on my favourites about a year. The best one is the daytime event where they are almost driving off a cliff. I may see you around next year cos i am doing the ASWMC nav championship

Some good stuff on there, even found a pic of myself on the 2002 classic lanes in my mk2 escort, shame there isnt a video clip for that event though.

Ive only done 2 events as a navigator. I was 1st beginner by(50 mins)and 16th overall on the South Hams Harvest Rally 2006, and did the Great Bustard Enduro and was 13th OA and 3rd in class. Id love to come up and experience the Welsh Scene, i near its a different world

I dont see why not, but my first choice are the ASWMC events that i will be driving on.
Its a bit of a long haul for me as well, because i live in Plymouth.
If youre stuck for a nav PM me by all means.
Oh one other question. Do you run a Nova on road rallies. If so, do you have a tank guard on it. I need a bit of direction because i am hoping to make one for the beginning of the season, and i was hoping you may have some pictures
Cheers

Yes i've got a tank guard, think it's two pieces,i'll get under the car and take some pics if it ever stops raininglol
If i can i'll take it off an measure it up for you,it was already on the car when i bought it so it will be interesting to see how well its been fabricated,i've got to skid the exhaust but the brake and fuel lines are already run inside the car.
Its the suspension that needs sorting next after i've got the box in next weekend then mine should be ready:)

That would be sweet if you could mate. Im in the process of putting all the lines inside the car, our usual club events never use whites, and the car sits quite low especialy with the group A sump guard. Ive just put Bilstein B8's all round, after my AVO's got a bit tired.

im just started on my tank guard, thought it would have to be in two pieces.
what sump guards are you useing? i was wondering if 5mm alloy would be too thin :S

Sorry i was half asleep when i replied, mine has got steel home made tank guards, they dont need to be thick as they're only really to deflect things away from the tank,i've seen thick mupflap material used for the job on a few cars,i'd just use sheet steel and just make it like the floor is extended to the back of the tank:thumb:
